Ontario Science Centre
The Ontario Science Centre is a public centre for innovative thinking and provocative dialogue in science and technology. An iconic cultural attraction, the centre informs and challenges its community with interactive exhibitions and engaging programming. The Ontario Science Centre has a number of spaces such as the Weston Family Innovation Centre, KidSpark, Space, A Question of Truth, Living Earth, and the Science Arcade. Such an interactive space is ideal for teambuilding programs. With a number of different activities, such as Challenger Edutainment, Challenge Zone and Scavenger Hunts, full or half-day programs are available and focus on teamwork, leadership and stress management. Programs are facilitated by L(earn)2, a corporate training group known for effective experiential training workshops. For product launches, bar/bat mitzvahs, weddings or office team building, your event can inspire your guests to start a journey of curiosity and discovery with the Ontario Science Centre’s exhibits, programs and live demonstrations. Private spaces are also available for rent and range from the front lobby to the entire building!
Procter & Gamble Great Hall, Hot Zone, Telus Conference Room & Mezzanine, Gemini Patio
The Great Hall seats 600 guests, or can accommodate 1,200 guests for a stand up reception. The space has an outdoor terrace, a chandelier like art instillation that imitates the earth’s atmosphere, grand staircases, and floor to ceiling windows that look over the Don Wetlands. The space can be rented alone, or with the Hot Zone.
The Hot Zone is an event space in itself and seats 200 with room for 500 guests for a reception but can also act as a great space for pre-dinner cocktails and post-dinner dancing. The Hot Zone also has access to the Great Hall Terrace.
The Telus Conference Room and Mezzanine is available for daytime and evening rentals and is equipped to act as both a corporate meeting space or with its floor to ceiling windows, vaulted ceiling and skylight an ideal space for a wedding ceremony or reception.
The Gemini Patio is another outdoor space. Located near the main entrance, and tented with a green canopy tent, this space can accommodate approximately 200 guests.
